In the footsteps of the Impressionists: Montmartre Tour
You'll meet your guide outside the Moulin Rouge and take a step back into Paris’ Belle Epoque when the parties in the old windmills lasted all night and cabaret dancers and prostitutes rubbed shoulders with the greatest artists of the age. Setting off down the winding lanes, you'll pass sights of interest both old and new, like the studio where Picasso painted ‘Le Demoiselles d’Avignon’, The Moulin de la Galette which served as the backdrop for Renoir's masterpiece, and the cafe where Audrey Tautou works in Amelie. You'll also stop at some of the modern residents’ favorite spots, like the wall of ‘I Love You’ in which the phrase is written hundreds of times by anonymous passers-by, and the only working vineyard left in Paris. The tour ends on the steps of the Sacre Coeur which feature arguably the best views of Paris.
