While we were staying in Paris, I booked this tour for our family of four to Versailles because we wanted transportation, a private tour, skip the line access, and an English speaking tour guide. This outing went beyond our expectations! Our guide Joelle (sp?) was OUTSTANDING! He was prompt, courteous, enthusiastic, friendly, helpful and overall a wealth of information! We had never been to Versailles and everyone told us the lines are long and confusing, especially in the summer. This was worth every penny not only to have someone navigate us through this maze and skip the incredibly long line but to personally give us the history of Versailles from facts to human interest! Our guide, who spoke perfect English, gave us wonderful information regarding every room, area, sculpture and painting as well as took us to areas that are only open at certain times. The highlight was spending time in the magnificent gardens where he gave us details of each area and was happy to take various family photos. Our teenage daughters had the best time and remarked how it was so interesting and that time passed quickly. They really enjoyed every minute as much as the parents did. We were able to see everything we wanted and left feeling we didn't miss anything. I cannot recommend this tour enough! This was by far one of the biggest highlights of our trip and one of our best days! Thank you Joelle!!!
