Loire Valley Chateaux Day Trip with Chateau Chenonceau and da Vinci's House

Meet your guide at Gare Montparnasse where you’ll catch the high-speed train to the Loire Valley in just over an hour. On arrival, hop into your private, air-conditioned vehicle with your small group of no more than 15 people.
It’s a short drive to Chateau Chenonceau where you’ll get a full guided tour of this magnificent Renaissance castle. The stunning facade, stretching across the Cher river, is only rivalled by the opulent interiors where artworks by Rubens, Van Dyk and Tintoretto adorn the walls. After the tour, enjoy a wine tasting, sampling some of the excellent regional wines.

Refreshed from lunch, you’ll move on to Chateau du Clos Lucé, where Leonardo da Vinci spent his final years under the employment of the king of France. Stroll through the gardens dotted with life-size working replicas of some of his inventions.
Finally, enjoy a tour of Chateau d’Amboise, once the king’s residence and one of the most impressive chateaux in the Loire Valley. Take the train back to Paris and arrive at Austerlitz station in time for dinner.
