Paris Cooking Class: French Christmas Menu

Class
About this activity
Your cooking experience takes place in central Paris at the home of a revered French chef, who’ll lead you through today’s cooking class. Your chef has professional experience in several restaurants, including a Michelin-starred restaurant, so you get to learn from the best of the best!
If you choose the market tour option, you'll start at a Parisian outdoor market to help your chef pick out the fresh, local and seasonal products you'll use for your meal, such as poultry, seafood, seasonal vegetables and spices. Otherwise, head straight to the chef's home for your class. After getting settled with your provided cooking tools and going over the menu, you’ll be ready to start cooking!
Follow several creative, festive winter recipes to create classic French dishes such as cream of pumpkin soup and Bûche de Noël (see sample menu below). Because your class takes place in the chef’s own kitchen, you'll enjoy a hands-on experience while learning tips and tricks from a pro. Your chef will coach you through every step, so no experience is required.
The crowning jewel to this traditional French meal is a Bûche de Noël. This classic log-shaped cake is a favorite French dessert during the winter, and will be a beautiful addition to your family's Christmas dinner table!
After everything has been cooked, sit down to enjoy your meal with some French wine. You'll take home all of the day's recipes, so you can recreate these classic French dishes for your friends and family over Christmas or any other special occasion. Bon appétit!
Please note: This tour is seasonal and runs from early November to the end of January.
