There was a lot of people and overbooked! We were herded from room to room and forced to stand inside for 2 hours while watching the inside events. By the time they let us outside it was too dark to enjoy the gardens! The bus ride out to Versailles was excellent and the driver conveniently parked near the entrance so it was an easy walk in and out!
