Great tour. Got right in with the skip the line pass and our guide stayed with us and gave a great tour for three hours when scheduled for only two. His knowledge of the art in the Louvre enhanced the experience that could have happened no other way.
We had an excellent tour led by Sebastian! Only 4 of us in the group and it was a very informational visit but also our guide was really fun! And going on a late night opening it was not crowded and very magical!
I would highly recommend doing a private tour of the Louvre. It is huge and very crowded. Our time was limited and we wanted to see as much as possible in the time we had. A skip the line tour saves a lot of time. Our guide was personable and very knowledgeable. It was very helpful to have someone who was able to point out highlights and give us additional information about the art we were seeing. We were able to stay as long as we wanted when the tour was over. A couple of things I would change: our guide was Small. It would have been helpful if she had an article to hold up so it would have been easier to follow her. Also, she was soft spoken and the Louvre is noisy. I would recommend the use of a ‘whispers’ listening device. With this we could have heard the guide and still walk around and seen more. As it was we had to huddle around her while she was talking so we could hear what she was saying instead of being able to view the art as she spoke.
We had a wonderful n informative time with guide Athena. She was full of energy and passion for what she does and gave the right amount of information in 2 hours. We understand that it is a snap shot of only a fraction of what you need to see at the Lourve. The small numbers in this tour was perfect, 5 of us in total. Thank you and we would certainly do a similar tour next time we are in Paris.
This was absolutely amazing and our tour guide Raphael was phenomenal. I wish she could have been our guide the entire time we were in Paris.
If you aren't well versed in art but would love to learn and see some of the worlds finest master pieces, then this tour is for you! Our guide was very lovely, spoke English very well and was extremely knowledgeable! She was an art historian so she really did know her stuff. I learnt so much on this tour and had the opportunity to explore parts of the museum I didn't get to see once the tour ended. You'll not only learn about the artists and their masterpieces, you'll also learn a bit of Parisian history and how the art ties into this beautiful city. Would definitely recommend you give this a go if you want to learn more about the masterpieces within the Louvre.
