About this activity
Explore one of the world's most famous cathedrals and Paris' most impressive stained glass chapel on this exclusive skip-the-line tour. Not only will you visit and learn all about these two beautiful attractions, you will also be taken on a journey through the history of Paris; beginning with the city's Gallic origins as Lutetia and ending with the beautiful city we know today.
Originally commissioned by Louis IX as a reliquary for the Crown of Thorns, Sainte-Chapelle was built in the Flamboyant Gothic style in just 7 years. Our morning group tour allows you to be one of the first people inside Sainte-Chapelle where you will discover 6,458 sq ft of beautiful 13th century stained glass windows and see why it has earned the nickname "The Jewel Box of Paris."
After Sainte-Chapelle you will learn the remarkable history of Notre Dame. Heralded as France's greatest example of Gothic architecture, the cathedral took nearly 200 years to be completed and was the inspiration for Victor Hugo's famous novel The Hunchback of Notre Dame. After a visit of the inside of the cathedral, stroll past the long line of tourists and enjoy your no-wait access to the famous bell towers to view Paris from above, and to catch a glimpse of Notre Dame's iconic gargoyles. Be sure to bring a camera because the sights are breathtaking!

I believe our tour guide's name was Sonya. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and personable. She was able to get us in quickly and without delay for both attractions. The weather was rather hot, and we were able to move quickly and avoid the long lines at Notre Dame. This is an excellent tour and well worth the money. We climbed the stairs to the top of the bell tower all 422 steps, and it was a fantastic view of not only the city but the gargoyles as well. Thank you
