Your knowledgeable guide will lead you to some of the Louvre’s most internationally adored works of art. Admire iconic sculptures such as the ancient Greek depiction of the goddess Aphrodite Venus de Milo, the headless Winged Victory of Samothrace and Antonio Canova’s evocative Neoclassical masterpiece Psyche Revived by Cupid's Kiss. Learn the history behind Théodore Géricault’s famous 19th-century painting The Raft of the Medusa and stand before one of the most famous paintings of all time — Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa. Victoria was an amazing guide! So knowledgable and you can tell has a genuine love for art and history. Tour was small (12 people) and 1.5 hrs which was perfect and more than enough time to see the big pieces of art. We enjoyed the tour and Victoria made it a great experience.
This is a good tour for someone with only a small amount of time who wants to see the main attractions. You don't have to find your way on your own. You do see only a small amount of what you can see but you don't waste time trying to figure out how to get to places. If you do have a greater amount of time this tour would be a good jumping off point as your guide will provide directions and suggestions for further things to see.
We have three teenage boys and this was the perfect amount of time at the Louvre. The guide did a great job of keeping them interested with stories about the painting.
so worth it. tour guide got us right up in front of all the great famous works of art. she was friendly and knowledgeable. I took my toddler and she was so patient with us. i would never do the louvre without a guide. this guided tour was a highlight of my paris trip
