Tickets Musée du quai Branly – Jacques Chirac
The permanent exhibition presents around 3,500 pieces divided into geographical areas: Oceania, Asia, Africa and the Americas. The exhibition is presented as a ‘circuit’ in a continuous manner, on either side of a central aisle conceived to resemble a river. Themed spaces or "boxes" punctuate the exhibition path to provide particular illumination of a specific region or type of work. The desire to present these rich and varied collections and the fragility of some works – which limits the duration for which they can be exhibited - lead to frequent museographic changes.

PARADISE PALACE - Paper funeral offerings in Taiwan
18 Jun 2019 - 27 Oct 2019
We have all dreamed of enjoying earthly pleasures again after death. That is the purpose of paper funeral items, burned to ensure the material comfort of the deceased in the afterlife. These ephemeral, realistic replicas with colourful details reflect consumer society but mostly illustrate the very ancient notion of mutual dependency between living people and their ancestors.
