The Winery Experience

During your visit of the state-of-the-art production facility and barrel room you will learn many things about wine making and producing a high quality wine along the manufacturing chain from refrigeration and transport to Paris, sorting, de-stemming, pressing, yeast selection, blending, ageing, and bottling.

The Wine

The wine is produced from hand selected Grenache grapes grown, harvested and sorted by hand in the Rhone Valley vineyards, and with to respect the land and the terroir using very little pesticides nor chemicals. The goal is to protect the integrity of the grape even using gravity in the press rather than crushing with heavy machinery.

From the grape to the bottle Les Vignerons controls every aspect of the process including the wood used in the barrels, which imparts its own taste. Freshness and natural acidity is sought above all, so the choice is on parcels, which are harvested before maturity and bring out the best in the grape. The grapes represent the terroir and as a result the distinguishing aspect of small producer wines is that the taste changes from year to year.

Two 2015 vintages are aged in Thermoregulated stainless steel vats. Three other vintages with a longer ageing in 600 litre Burgundy barrels from the Rousseau cooperage, famous for producing barrels that bring out a wines "freshness". These are:
• Lutèce : (50% Viognier, 40% Grenache, 10% Roussanne)
• Turbigot: (100% Cinsault ) Unfiltered / Single 40 yr old vineyard)
• Les Templiers: (100% Grenache) harvested in Visan
• Haussman: (100% Syrah ) from Visan
• An 508: (100% Grenache) from clay-limestone and sand
