Your “journey of flavors” starts by visiting a cheese factory, where you will see how milk is processed into Parmigiano Reggiano. You will discover every phase of its preparation and soon realize that the producers' expertise and knowledge make this product special and unique. The visit will end with a tasting of Parmigiano Reggiano of different aging periods: time is also an essential ingredient, which makes this cheese so extraordinary.

Your journey will then proceed to the Parma hills to discover another excellence of this land: Parma Ham. In a family-run ham factory, you will enter the curing room where you will delight in the flavor of curing Parma ham: every slice of this amazing product is a mix of traditional history and long preparation.

You will have lunch in a traditional restaurant where, in addition to Parmigiano Reggiano and Parma ham, you will also taste many other delicacies of the local cuisine.

Finally, you will leave Parma and enter the nearby province of Reggio Emilia, where you will have the chance to discover another DOP product: traditional balsamic vinegar. Its origin is rooted in an ancient family tradition and this “black gold” secretly matures in the vinegar cellars.
