About this activity
Day 01: Arrival in Paro (2250m) and transfer to Thimphu (2350m)

Arrive in Paro Airport and meet our representative. After clearing customs and visa control our representative provides you the brief description on your tour and transfers you to Paro for lunch. After visit Rinpung Dzong, and then transfer to Thimphu. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02: Thimphu Sightseeing – Punakha

Carry out sightseeing program visiting National Memorial Chorten, Textile Museum, Folk Heritage Museum and many more. Later drive towards Punakha crossing the Dochula Pass (3,050m). Overnight at Hotel.

Day 03: In Punakha (1310m) – Khamsum Chorten hike (1500m)

Early in the morning after breakfast hike up to Khamsum Yueley Namgyel Chorten erected by Royal queen mother for the purpose of present king in 2002. Later in the afternoon visit Punakha Dzong located at the confluence of the Pho-chu (male-river) and Mo-chu (female-river), the Punakha Dzong is arguably the foremost spectacular dzong within the country. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 04: Punakha – Thimphu (2350m)

After breakfast, drive towards a stunning hill-top nunnery – Sangchen Dorji Lhundrup Chholing. Later drive back to Thimphu. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 05: Thimphu – Day excursion to Haa Valley (2740m) – Paro

After breakfast drive over the Chelela pass (3899 m) which offers the majestic panorama of Himalayan Ranges and the valley beyond. Now continue to drive towards the Haa which is formed up of five counties and was closed to outside world until 2002. Visit Wangchucklo Dzong, Lhakhang Nakpo (Black temple) and Lhakhang Karpo (white temple). Afterwards, drive back to Paro. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 06: Paro – Hike to Taktsang Monastery (3120m)

After breakfast drive towards the base camp of Taktsang for the hike up to the Taktsang Monastery-Tiger’s Nest. Its architectural design is shaped with best of Buddhist traditions and arts. The monastery is a white building with a golden roof and has four main temples and several dwellings. Afterwards, hike back to the road point and then drive to Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred shrines in Bhutan. Later, get back to hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 07: Departure

Your 6 Nights Glimpse of Dragon Kingdom terminates today, after breakfast drive towards the international terminal and board the flight for your onward destination.
