About this activity
Day 1: Arrival $ sightseeing in Paro (2,250m)
At Bhutan, Airport pickup, hotel transfer. Visit Rinpung Dzong, Kichu Lhakhang, and Drugyal Dzong.
Day 2: Paro-Thimphu (2,320m) 54 km hike to Taktsang Monastery (3,180 m)
Hiking to & from the most famous monastery, Taktsang (Tiger's Nest) Monastery. After visit, hike down. Drive to Thimphu.
Day 3: Thimphu-Punakha (1,250m) 76 km 3 hrs
Drive to Punakha with a stop for tea at Dochu La Pass (3,100m). From the pass, drive downhill.&reach Punakha. Visit Punakha Dzong, the 2nd oldest & the largest dzong in Bhutan.
Day 4: Punakha-Paro (2250m) 140 km 4 hrs
Drive to Paro via Dochu La pass. Visit the new Druk Wangyal Monastery, one of its kinds in Bhutan.
Day 5: Fly to Kathmandu (1,300m) 1 hr flight
At Kathmandu, visit 3 UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Day 6: Drive to Chitwan 150km 6 hrs
At Chitwan, either takes a jungle safari or nature walks depending on arrival time.
Day 7: Chitwan National Park
Mount on elephant backs for a jungle safari to witness wildlife in their natural habitat. Visit the elephant stables & enjoy bathing the elephants. Drive through the jungles followed by a canoe ride down the Rapti River. Or, go for birding or nature walks.
Day 8: Drive to Pokhara (910m) 200km 6 hrs
At Pokhara, visit Davis Falls & Shiva Cave. 
Day 9: Catch Sunrise from Sarangkot Hill then fly to Kathmandu
Leave for Sarangkot for amazing sunrise view over the Himalayas. Boating in Phewa Lake, the largest lake there. Visit Bindyabasini Temple located at the center of the Lake before flying to Kathmandu..
Day 10: Arrival in Lhasa (3,650m)
At Lhasa, airport pickup, hotel transfer. Take rest for the day to minimize altitude sickness.
Day 11: Sightseeing in Lhasa 6 hrs
Visit the beautiful Potala & Norbulingka Palaces built in the 17th century. Visit the Tibet Traditional Hospital-the center for the treatment, training, research and production of Tibetan medicine
Day 12: Sightseeing in Lhasa 6 hrs
Visit Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Bazaar. 
Day 13: A day excursion to Ganden Monastery and Drayerpa Cave 6 hrs
Drive to Ganden Monastery, located at the top of Wangbur Mountain (3,800m) in the Lhatse County, 57km east of Lhasa. It is the oldest and one of the ‘great three’ of the six Gelug Sect monasteries in Tibet. Drive to Drayerpa Cave. There are more than 30 caves for Lamas who wish to meditate in a silent environment. Drive back to Lhasa
Day 14: Final departure
Escort to the airport approx.3 hours before your flight schedule.

  • Please note that since the flights from Paro to Kathmandu and Kathmandu to Tibet are operated only on the specific days, we will have to start the tour from Sunday (Day 1).Then we will catch the scheduled flight from Paro to Kathmandu on Thursday. Similarly, we will catch the scheduled flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa on Tuesday.
  • Accommodations on this trip are on twin-shared basis.Single supplement will be served on request and will cost an additional 760 USD. Bhutan: Hotels in Bhutan are approved and classified by the government as grade A, B and C. The government approved hotels are equivalent to 3-4 star hotels elsewhere. Based on availability at the time of our booking, our company serves A grade hotels in Paro and Thimphu and B grade hotels in Punkha. We use Hotel Tashi Namgay Resort in Paro, Hotel Migmar in Thimpu and Meri Puensum Resort in Punakha. Nepal: We will be accommodated in Yatri Suites & Spa or Hotel Moonlight or Similar in Kathmandu, Green Park Chitwan in Chitwan and Mt. Kailash Resort in Pokhara. Tibet: Kyichu Hotel in Lhasa.
  • Varieties of meals are available in most hotels the most popular being Indian, Chinese, Nepalese, Bhutanese, Tibetan and the more common continental food. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes are also available in every restaurant and hotel. We will be served breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner in Nepal and Bhutan. In Tibet, only breakfast will be served. We will have to take care of Lunch and Dinner on our own in Tibet.
  • Spring (April and May) and autumn (September to November) are the best seasons for this tour. We can also equally enjoy Bhutan, Nepal and Tibet Tour during winter months but it may get a bit cold.
  • organizes our Tibet visa (permits), Bhutanese visa, Chinese visa. Nepal visa is easily available upon arrival in Kathmandu airport (We have to keep with small denomination of USD or Nepalese rupees for payment for Nepal visa).
  • Luggage Weight Restrictions-Druk Air has a 20 kg weight limit for checked luggage and another 5 kg weight limit for carry-on luggage on their flights.
