Day 01 Bangkok - Paro (elevation 7500ft)
• Visit Kyichu Temple
• Visit Ta-Dzong
• Paro Rimpung Dzong
• Walk through quaint Paro Town
Day 02 Paro - Bumthang (elevation: 8650ft)
• domestic flight
• Fly to Bumthang (25 mins)
• Classic Bumthang Temple Walk - Visit Jampa, Kurjey and Tamshing Temple
Day 03 Bumthang/ Jakar
• Bike/ Drive to Tang Valley
• Visit the Membartsho "Burning Lake"
• Bike from Tang valley floor to Ogyencholing Manor House
• Bike/ drive back to main valley of Bumthang/ Jakar
Day 04 Bumthang - Gangtey/ Phobjikha (Elevation: 9000ft)
• Drive (4-5 hours) to Phobjikha
• Stop at Chumey Weaving Centers
• Stop in Trongsa; see the Ta-Dzong Museum & Trongsa Dzong
Day 05 Gangtey/ Phobjikha
• Gangtey Nature Trail Hike (birding can be also done alongside)
• Visit a farming family
• Bike through the valley or have a downtime
Day 06 Gangtey - Punakha (4400ft)
• Drive (2 hours) to Punakha
• Visit Punakha Dzong - the ancient Capitol building
• Walk/ bike over the longest suspension bridge near the Punakha Dzong
Day 07 Punakha - Thimphu (Elevation: 7500ft)
• Hike to Chimi Lhakhang or the temple of the "Divine Mad-monk”
• Drive over Dochula Pass to Thimphu - the present day capital
• Visit Textile Museum
Day 08 Thimphu - Paro
• Visit the Big Buddha
• Visit the Takin Enclosure
• Visit the Painting School
• Explore Thimphu town
• Drive to Paro
Day 09 Paro - Taktsang Excursion (reach up-to 10230ft starting at 8280ft
• Early hike to Taktsang or "Tiger’s Nest”
• Optional Shopping in Paro Town after hike
Day 10 Paro – fly out
