About this activity
The first day of your tour will give you some exciting moments to learn more about the country and its people. You will learn how the Bhutanese preserve their culture, traditions and their art and paintings from outside world. Enjoy a visit to Kuensel Phodrang, which is a gigantic Shakyamuni Buddha statue constructed in the mountains and also view the Memorial Chorten built in 1974 as a memorial to the third king Jigme Dorji Wangchuk. Your second day is all about the festival, you will spend more than 8 hours enjoying the different type of mask dances and the traditional dancing and singing of Bhutan. Tshechu is all about gathering people from around the country with different types of colourful, traditional dress, which is known as a Gho for men and a Kira for women.Your morning hours at Tashichho Dzong are your last experience to experience the traditional dances in Bhutan, afterwards, you make your way to Changangkha Lhakhang to enjoy your lunch. After lunch, we will drive to Paro and stop by Simtokha Lhakhang, one of the historic Dzongs in Bhutan.This is all about your day hike to Paro Taktsang, built around the Taktsang Senge Samdup cave. Lunch will be arranged so that you can enjoy the views over the Taktsang valley. After lunch, we will drop you back at your accommodation to get some rest and in the evening will visit Paro Museum followed by Paro town.
