One of the most magnificent modern aquariums, Underwater World is an all-time favorite attraction to many visitors. Showcasing a huge and diverse marine life of about 5000 fish of 500 species from Thailand and nearby regions. You can observe the brilliant marine life as you walk down the acrylic pedestrian underwater tunnel. Opened in the year 2003, Underwater World provides an excellent opportunity to observe the diverse and rich marine life.
You can start exploring at the "Touch Pool". Here you can actually touch Sharks, Seahorses, Star fish, Sting Rays and many other marine creature with your bare hands. As you proceed further you will see 3 sections; Reef section, Shark and Ray Zone, and Shipwrecks.
In the reef section you can see some stunning and beautiful corals. Gaze in awe at the wonderful colors.
The Shark and Ray Zone, as the name suggests, is home to some fascinating sharks, rays and many more ferocious marine creatures.
The Shipwreck zone is actually where you can observe and learn about edible fish, their market names, biological names and their behavior in their natural environment.
