Day 2: ORVIETO and TODI GUIDED TOUR

Stop At: Duomo di Orvieto, Piazza del Duomo, 05018, Orvieto Italy
In the morning we’ll visit Orvieto, an ancient city of Etruscan origin that dominates the valley of the river Paglia from the top of the tuff cliff on which it stands. Old town, Duomo, St. Patrick's Well. Time for lunch/shopping.

Stop At: Centro Storico di Todi, Todi Italy
In the afternoon we’ll reach Todi, "The most livable city in the world" or "The ideal city", to admire its treasures: Cisterne Romane, Church of San Fortunato which preserves in the crypt the tomb of Jacopone Da Todi, Tempio Della Consolazione by Bramante, Cathedral of the twelfth century built on the ruins of the ancient temple to the god Apollo, ceramists’ workshops, and more.

Day 3: DERUTA CERAMICS AND PERUGIA GUIDED TOUR

Stop At: Centro Storico di Deruta, Deruta Italy
Deruta, listed among the most beautiful towns in Italy, has always been known as the capital of ceramics. We’ll visit a prestigious company of arts and crafts, whose renowned creations are all handmade, designed and produced following centuries-old ceramic traditions. Guided by an expert artisan, we learn the secrets of this refined art, also being able to observe the master ceramists and painters at work. At the end of the workshop, we can admire the beauty of the majolica displayed in the showroom, including the largest vase in the world which has been entirely handmade.

Stop At: Perugia Cathedral, Piazza IV Novembre, 06123 Perugia PG, Italy
We dedicate the rest of the day to Perugia. The capital of the region of Umbria, is worth visiting not only for the beauty of its hilltop setting, but also for its fine old buildings. Before it came under Roman rule, ancient Perusia was one of the twelve cities of the Etruscan federation, and considerable sections of the Etruscan walls, which extended for 2,800 meters around the town, have been preserved. Perugia is known to the art world as the center of the Umbrian school of painting in the 15th and 16th centuries; its leading members, Pietro Vannucci (called Perugino) and Bernardino Betti (called Pinturicchio) both worked here. The young Raphael worked in Perugino's studio until 1504. You'll find works by all three in Perugia's churches and public buildings. Time for lunch/shopping.

Day 4: MONTEFALCO AND SPOLETO GUIDED TOUR

In the morning, we’ll visit Montefalco, known as the Balcony of Umbria (Ringhiera dell’Umbria) from which you can enjoy a breathtaking 360 ° view of the entire Valle Umbra. Among the numerous attractions: Town walls, Torre del Verziere, Church of Sant’Agostino, Piazza del Comune, Museum complex San Francesco, Church of Santa Chiara, lookout point.

Late in the morning we’ll reach Spoleto, the ancient capital of the Lombard dukes. Spoleto is often considered one of Umbria’s most graceful hill towns. Spoleto will leave you breathless thanks to many Roman and medieval attractions that will make an unforgettable impression. Time for lunch/shopping.

Day 5: SPELLO AND ASSISI GUIDED TOUR

Stop At: Il giardino di Spello, Via Centrale Umbra 36, 06038 Spello Italy
This morning we’ll lead to Spello, or with the words of Julius Caesar the "Splendidissima Colonia Julia", an enchanting village of Roman origin, listed among the most beautiful villages in Italy, thanks to its rich environmental, cultural and artistic heritage. Among its places of interest: Torri di Properzio, Chiesa di Santa Maria Maggiore and Cappella Baglioni with majolica floor of Deruta and frescoes by Pinturicchio.

Stop At: Basilica Papale e Sacro Convento di San Francesco d'Assisi, Piazza S. Francesco, 2, 06081, Assisi Italy
From late morning onwards, we’ll visit Assisi, the old town and the Franciscan places: Basilica di San Francesco, Chiesa di Santa Chiara, Piazza del Comune, Cattedrale di San Rufino, Chiesa di San Damiano. Time for lunch/shopping.

Day 6: PIEGARO GLASS MUSEUM AND CITTÀ DELLA PIEVE GUIDED TOUR

Stop At: Museo del Vetro, Via Giuseppe Garibaldi 20, 06066, Piegaro Italy
In the heart of the charming village of Piegaro, founded in Roman times, stands the complex of the old glasshouse, now home to the Glass Museum. The building, a perfect restoration of the ancient factory, tells the story of the glass production in Piegaro, from the Middle Ages to the twentieth century, through the display of glass artefacts made here over the centuries: drinking, bottles, demijohns, carafes, some of the which are embellished with pure gold decorations. The museum itinerary follows that of the ancient production cycle, from the raw materials to the finished product, passing through the phases of glass melting and its processing techniques.

Late in the morning we’ll reach Città della Pieve, a charming medieval town, of Etruscan-Roman origins, nestled on a hill in the shape of a plateau between the rivers Nestore and Chiani. Città della Pieve is home to one of the most important Italian Renaissance painters: Pietro Vannucci called "Il Perugino", master of Raffaello. Time for lunch/shopping.

Day 7: GULADO TADINO AND GUBBIO GUIDED TOUR

Stop At: Gualdo Tadino, 06022 Fossato di Vico, Province of Perugia, Italy
This morning we’ll visit Gualdo Tadino, a picturesque town at the foot of the Central Apennines, with its majestic Cathedral dedicated to San Benedetto, the colorful alleys, the potters' workshops. A true jewel of history and art, as evidenced by the civic museum inside the Rocca Flea, which preserves magnificent Renaissance works by the master Matteo da Gualdo, and a precious collection of artistic majolica.

Stop At: Cathedral (Duomo di Gubbio), Via Ducale, Gubbio Italy
Gubbio is one of the oldest Umbrian cities. Here you can breathe history from every stone and many are the traces of its glorious past: the Roman Theater of the first century AD, the Basilica of Sant'Ubaldo which overlooks the city and houses the remains of the saint, patron of Gubbio, the Gothic cathedral, the Church of Santa Maria Nuova which houses the fresco "The Madonna of the Belvedere" by Ottaviano Nelli, master painter and miniaturist who owes his birth to Gubbio. In the Palazzo dei Consoli, home of the Civic Art Gallery, we find the "Tavole Eugubine", seven bronze tablets bearing inscriptions in Umbrian characters of the 3rd and 2nd centuries BC and Latin characters of the II and I centuries BC, very important documents for the history of the Italic peoples. Time for lunch/shopping.
