Wine tour and chocolate experience from Perugia or Assisi

About this activity
In the morning or afternoon arrival on at the winery, located in the centre of the Umbria region, around 13 km from Perugia city, with a beautiful view of the entire valley. Later start a Guided Tour of the winery with detailed description of the Umbria wine production. The red wine is typically made from three grape varieties: Sangiovese 50%, Canajolo 30%, Malbec 20%.
After visiting the cellar, transfer to the artisan workshop of chocolate. A small laboratory in the heart of Umbria, where expert hands and modern technologies allow to realize unexpected and surprising products. Crafted work evokes ancient flavors.

Classroom lecture on cocoa plant and chocolate history
Guided tour in the laboratory during the processing of products
Tasting of products:
"Tronchetti", assortment of the best handcrafted pralines of the Perugina chocolatery tradition, "dragées"(based on dried fruit, and nuts candy ), chocolate coffee and chocolate liqueur, creams, assorted tablets, chocolate and coffee liqueur, line of Sugar-free chocolate, selection of pralines from the "I Prodotti del Territorio" line based on typical Umbrian products (wines, extra virgin olive oil and truffles) and so on.
