Enjoy a unique excursion through thick woods, country roads along the Aterno river, inaccessible castles and fortified monasteries, and immerse yourself in fascinating and unknown places.
You'll stop near Fontecchio, where you'll walk in the alleys of an ancient village characterized by a clock tower that's among the oldest in Italy and a splendid sixteenth-century fountain.
You'll continue towards the fortified Bominaco Monastery, where you'll be able to admire two extraordinary and different churches: Santa Maria Assunta, dating back to the thirteenth century, blinding in its candid splendor, and the Oratory of San Pellegrino, dating from the eighth century and completely frescoed.
