Hong island is another “must-to-see” and its name translates from Thai into "The island with the room" and got its name from the large lagoon located in the center of the island. Thousands of years ago this was a cave that collapsed and created this magnificent lagoon. It's only reachable by boat and offers swimming and pictures of beautiful limestone cliffs. Large bats are known to be hiding inside the mangrove area of the lagoon and can sometimes be seen. Hong Island has two beaches and a jungle trek to go exploring.
