Itinerary
Travel on the mainland from Krabi to Bor Thor, a small coastal village rich with archeological treasures, by van and enjoy the spectacular landscape with limestone cliffs and small villages along the way.
After getting instructions from your guide, you will start paddling on the Marui River through many extraordinary caves and narrow river tunnels. Along the way admire the spectacular stalactites and stalagmites of Lod Cave. Then continue along a tunnel to Khao Wong lagoon, located in the middle of a mountain.
You will take a break for lunch at a traditional Thai seafood restaurant by the river.
Afterwards, paddle over to Pee Hua Toh Cave to explore the ancient paintings and pictographs found inside. Then make your way through the cave's numerous grottos until you arrive at a viewpoint overlooking the mangrove forest and sprawling ocean.
In the late afternoon continue to Tha Pom also known as Khlong Song Nam meaning ‘canal of two waters’. A canal where seawater and freshwater come together at high tide and when mixed together, creates crystal clear water. Here you can take a swim in the pristine water and enjoy the natural surroundings.

The actual kayaking was fantastic. The guides are kind and helpful, the scenery is beautiful. The food was also good. The reason it gets less than full stars is the transportation. The description is an 8am pick up and 2pm drop off at the hotel. Of course I understand there is some room for traffic and other issues, but I was picked up 30 minutes late. I changed vehicles 3 times. I was left in a parked vehicle on the side of the highway to wait. It took over 2.5 hours to get to the pier. And we left late as well, not departing the peir until after 2pm, so I returned to my hotel quite late. The kayaking was great, and all the staff were kind, but if you're trying to plan another activity on the same day... don't.
