Ankie was so cool and so knowledgable. And then there was the food and the drinks! Serg the driver has skills to get us through the lovely sites on both the Dutch and French sides of the island, as well as the remnants of Carnival. I'd probably take the tour again if/when I come back.
The best thing about this tour is that we had the opportunity to see almost the entire island. On the other hand, we expected the variety of food to be substantial. For instance, at one of the most recognized French restaurants in Grand Case, we had a rum tasting unclear if the rum was infused in-house or purchased. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. However, when I noticed hair on the plate at our cheese tasting, she didn't even apologize or recognize the unprofessional vendor. Beautiful island but the cost of this tour was not worth it.
Very enjoyable!! Randy is a very knowledgeable guide and we visited 5 great food places. Had cheeses, crepes, rum tasting, BBQ and french pastries. Would highly recommend.
