Full Day Snorkeling South of Phu Quoc

It comes as no surprise that Vietnam’s Phu Quoc is the rising star for beach-seekers, looking for something new and exciting in Southeast Asia. White sand, calm seas and warm waters can be easily reached within the wild idyllic Phu Quoc beaches as where the northern part of this heart-shaped island is largely covered by forest and is a designated National Park. A destination that offers sandy shored, swaying palm trees as well give adventurers the opportunity to venture into the lush greenery are merely just a few ticks of the must-do box when Phu Quoc is your destination of choice. Away from the crowds and stunning in its own world, south of the island shores lies another paradise, best visible through a snorkeling mask.

Your guide and driver for the day will be ready at the hotel lobby of your Phu Quoc hotel for a short transfer to the An Thoi Seaport. The boat ride is a short but leisurely one, following in the footsteps of the island’s way of life. Bearing the same name as the port itself, we end up at the An Thoi Archipelago. What we can tell you about this small group of 15 islands may sound too good to be true but it is reality; a combination of sugary-white beaches, where palm trees offer some shade on these inhabited islands and cerulean-colored waters with tropical coral reef just a short swim off the shores. These waters will draw you in like a magnet where a whole new world reveals itself once you don yourself with mask and snorkel to see the magical allure of underwater An Thoi. If snorkeling is not entirely your thing, no worries! The crew on board is eager in teach you the robes in fishing off the boat. While you are fully immersed in trying to catch fish or continue to find new corners and regions to admire the aquatic animal life, the team on board will prepare a BBQ seafood lunch on board.
Time will not be wasted on swimming and fishing around a single island; after lunch, the captain navigates the boat to other smaller islands, some with hidden caverns but all just too beautiful for words. But like with any day, also this day in paradise must come to an end. With the compass directed back to An Thoi Seaport, your awaiting driver and his air-conditioned ride ends this afternoon at Phu Quoc’s famous Sao Beach, just to close the day the way it has been done all day – swimming, bathing and soaking up the Vietnamese sun. The day ends with a transfer back to your resort on Phu Quoc where we expect to arrive around 17:30 hrs.
