About this activity
Begin your tour from the beautiful seaside Port of Picton where you are picked up from your accommodation. Your private tour departs Blenheim at 10:20am or flexible to suit your own arrangements and around 4:30pm return to your accommodation. You will travel in a comfortable 6 seat vehicle offering you a very personal and exclusive experience.
The local wineries are open all year round for your wine-tasting pleasure, gourmet treats and mouth-watering cuisine. So come and enjoy our sunny winter months with a glass of wine in one hand, a platter of cheese and local morsels in the other. Soak up the sunshine or on a cooler day sit beside a warm fire in one of the cozy winery cafe’s or restaurants.
Lunch is presented with our amazing local cuisine and could include mussels, salmon, lamb and other delicacies. Tapas platters are very popular. You can relax back at a picturesque boutique winery or enjoy the fantastic high vantage views from a great chateau on the hill overlooking our Wairau Valley of vines, rolling hills, farms and mountains.
Travel in comfort while you view the stunning landscapes of the Wairau Valley, the snowy peaks in the distance or the Marlborough Sounds with sparkling waterways. With a local owner and guide as your chauffeur for the day, you can experience a custom itinerary to suit your tastes.
Activities on your tour may include:
