About this activity
Get ready for a full day of adventure, culture and fun!

Your

tour starts very early in the morning. After a

comfortable ride, you'll get to the archaeological site of Coba. This impressive city was built right in the middle of the jungle. You'll take a moderate walk (

bike rental is available on site too) and discover lots if impressive buildings that have stood through centuries. Then, you'll find the biggest jewel of the crown: the amazing temple of Nohoch Mul,

the tallest pyramid temple in the Yucatan Peninsula and one of the few that you can actually climb! Don't miss the opportunity of getting to the top and contemplate stunning views of the Mayan jungle. There's no sensation compared to

feel like on top of the world.

As if this wasn't enough, the adventure continues to one of the most important archaeological sites of the Mayan civilization and one of the most popular in the world. The impressive Tulum archaeological site known as the "walled city", one of the last cities built and inhabited by the Maya; it was at its height between the 13th and 15th centuries and managed to survive about 70 years after the Spanish began occupying Mexico. This is the only

archaeological site set on a cliff right next to the Caribbean Sea. Take a look at the ancient buildings and enjoy stunning views of the Caribbean Sea. If there's time, you can even

access to the gorgeous Tulum beach.

Interact with Maya

families and be part of a community project. Swim in a beautiful Cenote (underground cave with clear water),

participate in a Maya ceremony and enjoy a traditional meal.

You will have the opportunity to see how today's Mayan community live and learn from their culture and traditions. Visit Esmeralda, This Maya community still keeps a traditional lifestyle. Here you'll learn about local flora and take a refreshing dip in the crystal, clear fresh water of the beautiful Cenote (sinkhole). Observe how the village has evolved with ecotourism and understand their social growth. You'll be part of an authentic blessing ceremony that a Maya Shaman will perform with incense. Of course, no adventure is complete without a delicious meal. You'll enjoy an authentic Maya menu including soup, chicken, vegetables, rice, beans and hand-made corn tortillas. Then, it's time to return, so lay back, relax and enjoy the ride! Don't forget your bathing suit and your camera! You'll remember this tour forever!
