The impressive Tulum archaeological site known as the "walled city", one of the last cities built and inhabited by the Maya; it was at its height between the 13th and 15th centuries and managed to survive about 70 years after the Spanish began occupying Mexico. This is the only

archaeological site set on a cliff right next to the Caribbean Sea. Take a look at the ancient buildings and enjoy stunning views of the Caribbean Sea. If there's time, you can even

access to the gorgeous Tulum beach.
