About this activity
Taste, learn and enjoy tequila in a 1.5 hour professional private tequila tasting. The tasting will take place in a rooftop terrace of one of the best rooftop bars in Playa Del Carmen. If it gets too hot under the Mexican sun you can just jump into the cool rooftop pool and do the tasting there while enjoying the city and sea view from above.
This is going to be a private tasting for 2 people, a great gift or activity idea to newly wed couples who would like to do something truly unique and private while on their honeymoon in Playa del Carmen. Or, you can celebrate your or a special one's birthday with style!
The tequila includes a legendary tequila selection, the tequila brands selected are brands you have to try if you are looking to learn about the best tequilas. You will be provided with special stock tequilas, so you will taste 5 different "legendary" craft tequilas with different styles to make sure everyone will find one or two personal favorites.

Adam was wonderful. His knowledge about tequila was extensive, yet he wasn't a know-it-all. He mentioned up front that taste is a personal preference, so if you disagree with anything, it's not that one person is right and one is wrong. He gave us plenty of extra sips and I really fell in love with a few of the types. It's easy to find, and it's a cool little rooftop bar/pool which takes great pictures. We had a cloudy day so the temperature was just right. I highly recommend this one if you can handle your sips!
Our tasting was at the rooftop pool, the place is friendly and not many people around. Tasted 5 different tequilas and learnt about them in a fun and informative way. The hosts are great, Adam keeps the facts fun and interesting and he is very knowledgeable. Andi is more behind the scenes, taking care of guests and helps to take photos. We now know of how tequila is made, and more importantly what to look for to get a good quality tequila!
