My wife, son and I took this tour and loved it. The hike in the rain forest was about 2.5 miles. The terrain was not too steep. The hanging bridges were a great way to see everything. Our tour guide, Arturo, was knowledgeable, pointing out many things that most people were passing by. The views of the volcano were not that great, because of low hanging clouds, but that was ok. It did clear up later, so we were able to see a bit more. The hot springs are actually in a hotel, but still fun. Some tips - wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to walk.

It was absolutely horrible!!! The tour guide was not friendly and got annoyed at my friend and made her nervous because she returned her towel at the hot springs to the attendant not the tour guide. And about the hot springs..... it wasn't a hot springs at all. It was a water park that had hot bath tub like water that you enter and exit each ride We didnt even see a volcano. Nothing was pointed out to us that there was a volcano. A small child threw up in the back of the bus. The rain forrest was extremely boring. Our tour guide was boring and we didnt see any animals. The only cool thing was the suspension bridge and Im afraid of heights anyway! Horrible Horrible trip! Wish I could get my money back!

Great time, Alejandro was very knowledgeable as a guide, and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.

Freddy, our guide, made this trip fantastic. He knew history, geography, flora an fauna. Well spoken and well traveled. Would take a tour with him anytime anywhere. Some minor confusion about lunch and dinner, but Freddy was in contact with some one during the whole trip and made it all work. A real professional !!!!!

Amazing scenery. The drive is long, but they stop for lunch and dinner. I really enjoyed the Baldi hot springs, and just seeing the area. However, there is very little about the actual volcano - we just drove past it, and since it's quiet now, there wasn't much to see. Some members of our group did the zip lining and said it was the most amazing experience of their lives - the lines are long and very high up, so they said it was just like flying. I went on the nature walk, which was not as much fun, and a bit strenuous. Some places are steep and require you to step on an off rocks. If you can easily step up onto a kitchen chair, you'll have no problem. If you can't, don't go on this hike.
