This excursion is terrible. The tour company that set this up basically hires a local vendor and once you're dropped off, the tour company is no longer involved. We were driven from the hotel to the ATV spot by a very nice driver. We were dropped off on the side of the road no joke --- it was really the side of the road where a young guide was waiting with a bunch of other men. Our family of 4 was given 4 helmets and that's it! The guide asked us if we could drive and then showed us the throttle and brake and we were off. No safety briefing, no safety eye wear, no mask. We didn't think much of it until starting the ATV ride. We passed several other ATV'rs who all had masks and eyewear. That was odd as we didn't! What a disaster. The first half of the ride was getting to the trail. That took about 30 minutes. Along the main road with cars bypassing us and then up a dirt road behind some houses for about 20 minutes with rocks and dirt flying in our faces. It was terrible. No eyewear was the biggest problem besides the lack of any scenery which we had paid for. Finally you get to an offbeat track where you go through some small rivers and such until you arrive at a 20' waterfall where a bunch of locals are jumping in to a pool. We waited there for 10 minutes for the ATV's to cool off and then the return back to the roadside stop. We've ATV'd in quite a few places and this was BY FAR the worst tour ever. If you like rocks in your face, absolutely nothing to see and an experience to remember and not in the good way!, this tour is for you! STAY AWAY and save your money.
