What an awesome tour! A must do when in Costa Rica. It was also family friendly which was important to me since I was traveling with my children (15, 12, 7). The 7 year old was able to do ziplining attached to one of the tour guides. It was great a great tour and I recommend it to anyone looking for a Costa Rican adventure! Lunch was yummy too.
The zip line was totally amazing!!! But there was No hot springs like it advertised. No mud bath either! Felt like we got cheated out of out money with a false advertising.
This tour was the highlight of my trip to Costa Rica!!!!!! We started out by being picked up from our hotel. Which I would HIGHLY recommend, just make sure you have breakfast before you go. The ride was about an hour or so from Guanacaste. The guide who picked us up was very kind and told us part of the road was going to be very bumpy which It was for about 25 minutes. Once at the Park, we began suiting up for Zip lining. I am terrified of heights, but the guide assured us we would be fine. After the 1st line, I was hyped. There are 7 lines in total and one you can do upside down if you want to. Suzie was the real MVP. She is the dog who is also on the trail and she finds her way around the trail before we get to the other side. Zip lining was amazing, definitely an adrenaline rush! Horseback riding, I did not enjoy as much. The horse I had went crazy, and I winded up falling off of the horse, but I broke my fall by falling on the side of my body. I did not let that ruin my excursion. The tour guides made sure I was ok, I continued on the trail, and switched horses. The trail is very dense, and high too. You will get dirty, I recommend long pants, and lots of bug spray. After the trail, we headed off to get lunch which was a yummy typical Costa Rican lunch. To end the day, we went into the Hot Springs, and had a mud bath to relaxed for the last 2 hours. This excursion is worth every dime! I would highly recommend it!!!
