Pass By: Plovdiv Old Town, Plovdiv 4000 Bulgaria

The tour starts at 08:00 am when will take you from your hotel.

We depart for Plovdiv which is just a 3-hours drive from Sunny beach.

We will explore Plovdiv in the best possible way – just like the locals do. We’ll take a walk on the cobbled streets and explore the famous “Old town” – a candidate for the UNESCO World Heritage Site. There is also the Roman theatre of Philippopolis which is probably the most visited place in the city. The site was built at the end of the 1st century AD and is one of the most well-preserved theatres from antiquity in Europe.

The Roman stadium is here as well. It’s amongst the largest and most well-preserved buildings from Ancient Rome times on the Balkan peninsula. The facility, approximately 240 m (790 ft) long and 50m wide, can seat up to 30000 spectators. Today, the northern curved part of the stadium is partially restored and is one of the most recognizable landmarks of the city!

But Plovdiv is much more and 2019 is the year of Plovdiv, so we can enjoy some of its cultural and artistic events, galleries and of course Kapana neighborhood – the artsiest place in town which is a very dynamic place, changing constantly and also changing the people who visit it!

Late afternoon we depart for Sunny Beach at about 4:30 pm. Expected time of arrival in Sunny Beach – 7:00 pm.
