The water overflowing Phewa Lake, which drops into a cavernous gorge, form the fall. The local name for the waterfall is Patale Chhango, but it is better known in the tourise community as Devi's Fall following the tragic death of a Swiss lady who slipped into the caven. In 1961.

Pokhara and the surrounding area is the homeland of the world famous Gurkha soldiers. The Gurkha Memorial Museum, located on the premise of the British Camp, 7 km northesst of Lakeside.

Intl Mt. Museum located 1.5km south form Pokhara airport and and about 5km form Lakeside, is devoted to the mountains of Nepal it provides information about mountaineering as well as the culture, environment, history, geography, and ecology of the Himalayas.

Stop At: Shree Bindhyabasini Temple, Pokhara-Baglung Hwy Bindhyabasini, Pokhara 33700, Nepal

Bindhyabasini is another important Hindu shrine of Pokhara. The white dome structure is dedicated to Goddess Bhagawati; worshippers come here to perform sacrifices especially on Saturday.

This is large limestone cave famous for its stalactites and stalagmites, and is located 9km to the nortest of Lakeside. A British expedition team first explored this place in 1978 and again by Daniel Gebuer in 1980.

Locally known as a Chamere Gupha is filled with bats. This cave is located 500 meters to the west of Mahendra Cave. Exploring this popular cave is an adventure. Its natural environment attracts thousand of bats.

Seti gorge is a 7km long marvel in Pokhara that begins at all the way to Dhungesanghu with openiing at Tulsighat and Ramghat. The snow-fed seti river burrow deep into the limestone earth-bed, carving a narrow gorge hundreds of feet deep through the heart of Pokhara.
