Walk through the main street of Pompeii

My partner and I attended a 10:30am English tour with a lovely gentleman guide (I’m so sorry I’ve forgotten your name 18/9/19). His English was great and we were able to understand every word (they do provide headsets) You could tell he had a passion for the history which made this tour all the better. He showed us all the main sights to see whilst going into the details surrounding it. At the end of the tour he even asked if anyone was staying on the site to offer further advice on spots to see. Although it was early autumn it was a warm day so I really feel for these poor guides walking us around. We really appreciate the service you provided!

This tour exceeded expectations and gave an understanding of some basic aspects of Pompei. Our guide was awesome and encouraged us to ask questions we had. I will say, if you are going during warmer months, PACK WATER! It was incredibly hot and water was definitely needed. The tour itself was amazing!

Anna our tour guide and archeologist was amazing. She gave such useful facts and aling the way taught us how to be archeologists too. It was so much fun. She realized and understood it was a very hot day and always tried to make sure we were in the shade (or shadow as she would say) whenever possible. Her English was great too! Her tour really made the trip so enjoyable!

Antonio, the grandson of a longtime Pompeii archeologist, was amazingly passionate about this site and gave a fabulous tour full of both well and lesser known facts about the city. We never felt rushed by Antonio. My 67yo mother with a bad knee was able to keep the pace he set and he was conscientious about keeping the group in the shade when possible and offering multiple water breaks. Even though the offering doesn’t mention it, this tour DID include a headset to be able to hear better. Would highly recommend this tour.

I had a morning tour of Pompei with toue guide Michele (apologies if spelt wrong). The guide was very informative and attention grabbing, however this did fade after a little while. The tour could have been more fast paced. We stopped at each point and was provided with a lot of information for around 5-10 minutes each stop which became information overload and difficult to follow. A little more fast paced and moving along would have been perfect.
