Azores - Combo Tour Two Days Sao Miguel

Due to the fact that the climate in our being very unpredictable, we decided to put this little package of two days by the island of São Miguel and not be surprised by the weather conditions and be able to enjoy the best way our Island.

Day 1

Start the tour with a guided tour of a pineapple plantation followed by a complete visit to the Sete Cidades located on the west side of the island São Miguel. Where we have reserved for you several stops in places with magnificent views and so can explore much of the largest volcanic complex existing our island and the Highlights include the Seven cities Lake and another small lakes ( Canario e Santiago ).

After the lunch, we go to visit the Fire Lake, as well to stop in Natural Park of the Caldeira Velha, before to visit the citie of Ribeira Grande and to taste the famous regional licours of the Sao Miguel ( passion fruit and blackberry ).

Day 2

Depart from Ponta Delgada, along the south coast of the island, towards Vila Franca do Campo and Furnas, where we will do the first stop in a traditional Ceramic factory, to visit a small fishing port in caloura, before to stop in Vila Franca do Campo to see the amazing view in the belvedere from the Ermitage N. Senhora da Paz, around 12:30 we will be in furnas lake to watch the withdrawal of the famous stew of Furnas cooked by the natural volcanic heat.

After lunch, head to the Nordeste is small town situated on the north-east of the Island, the region is also famous for its lovely gardens, parks and the flowered roads and streets, filled with natural beauty and an exuberant vegetation. Our most tourist-interest stop will be in the park of Ribeira do Caldeirões, where you can delight in the beauty of one of the most beautiful waterfalls in S. Miguel

Already on the north coast we will make stops at the tea factory, where we will know the factory and the plantation, as well as, get to know the whole process of the elaboration of the tea of how it is done in this factory. On Santa Iria viewpoint our last stop will be made before we take you to your hotel.
