Azores, São Miguel - 3 lakes tour with lunch

Starting at the Hotel and following the southern coast, we left Ponta Delgada towards the Pico do Carvão Viewpoint, where we admire the north and south coasts.

The King's View is our next stop and the name of this place comes from the fact that on 6 July 1901, King Carlos and Queen Amelia had visited and said that it was a view for a king, freom here you can admire all the beauty of the green and blue lake, breathtaking scenery!

Time to adventure into the interior of the volcano, admiring the winding road that leads to the Santiago Lake, then on to the Seven Cities Parish, a brief stop to breathe the fresh air of a parish that gives us a sense of peace and it is time to left the interior of this magnificent volcano.

Leaving the Seven Cities, we head for the north coast to Furnas, going through the only two Industrial Tea Factorys in Europe. Along the way, admire the hydrangeas, azaleas, agapanthus, hibiscus, plantains, cedars and many other species, decorating like a garden, the edges of roads.

We follow the Furnas Lake where we made the famous "Cozido das Furnas" using the heat of the volcano. After seeing our "Cozido" be removed from the holes in the ground, time to prove this typical food of Furnas.

After a single lunch, we will have a hike in the boilers area, visiting the many volcanologicals manifestations of this volcano and where you can taste the many mineral waters.

Time to take the road to Lagoa do Fogo lake, This will be our last stop before returning to the hotel after an unforgettable day.
