This was the best tour we took! Delfim was the perfect guide for Sete Cidades. He has a keen interest in the volcanic activity that created the islands and loves to share the knowledge. Being in the jeep instead of a bus meant not only did we get to go on roads along the rim of the entire crater, we got to go off-road down in the crater, as well. If Delfim asks if you want to see the jeep be a boat, say YES!
My wife and I did an 1/2 day tour of Sete Cidades and the next day did a full day tour of the entire Island with Delfim of T4W Jeep Tours. He is absolutely the best guide ! He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about San Miguel. We saw places that are inaccessible without a 4 wheel drive vehicle . He has a great sense of humor and helped make great memories on this most beautiful island.
