Private Tour - Furnas Lake and Thermal Pool

Your guide will start this tour by driving you from your accommodation, through the Azorean scenic roads, towards Furnas valley, an absolute must visit place in the island. You can either choose to departure in the morning (between 8-9 AM) or in the afternoon (between 1-2 PM). This tour is also available for Cruise Ships.

Once in Furnas you will get to see the beautiful scenery of Furnas lake and the "caldeiras" - the thermal waters boiling from the ground, that make this part of the island so famous. While in the village of Furnas, you will also have a special wellness experience in an extraordinary outdoor Spa - "Poça da Dona Beija" (entrance fee included). Sit back relax on the various swimming pools filled with wonderful hot water, that are perfection all year round. The thermal waters on this part of the island are rich in iron and many other minerals. Many people seek this waters every year for their medicinal purposes.

You can also visit the Terra Nostra Hotel thermal pool (optional, entrance fee not included).

During the tour you will have time to taste one of the most well known delicacies in the island - "Bolo Lêvedo". It will replenish your energies after the your hot water swim.

In the end the tour your guide will drive you back to your accommodation (or any other place you wish, on the way).
