Be at ease with your 9:00am morning pick-up from your hotel to meet your guide and join a small-group (up to 8 people) for an amazing personalized day trip to the West half of São Miguel island.
Start with a visit to the pineapple greenhouses, just outside the city and learn the unique techniques used to grow this amazing fruit in the Azores.
Then head to Sete Cidades, enjoying amazing views of the island along the mountain road.
Discover the incredible Boca do Inferno Viewpoint, to many the best in the whole island, a picture that you'll never forget. This is a must tour in Sao Miguel, amazing scenery all the way and we were fortunate enough to have a clear day in the afternoon. The driver/guide Miguel was amazing and he gave us all the information about the sights we visited. The buffet lunch at the restaurant was absolutely wonderful. I appreciate and thank the company that accepted to change the date of my tour because of rainy and foggy weather on the day I was initially booked. This is a sightseeing tour and good clear weather is essential.
