About this activity
Your tour begins at your hotel / accommodation or vacation rental where you will meet you tour guide. After your free pick-up, the tour start with a stop at the Pineapple Plantation to learn how locals use a glass greenhouse, to grow pineapples. You can enjoy the very nice shop and have a free pineapple liquor taste.
Pico do Carvão lookout is our next stop for panoramic view of the island, from here, you can admire the north and south coast. Then, drive to Vista do Rei viewpoint, breathtaking scenery and perhaps the most famous view from Azores, the Blue and Green lakes inside the volcano crater.
Explore Sete Cidades Parish, located in the center of the volcanic crater before hopping back on the minibus and heading to the last scenic spot, the Escalvado viewpoint with an amazing view to Ponta da Ferraria thermal pool, coast line and Mosteiros village.
