fallowing the shout coast the first stop is at castelo branco a small castle from the medieval times, after you will go to Lagoa das Furnas, see some of the activity of the volcano inside of the crater, fallowing to the village you will have the chance to choose between poça da Dª Beija or Parque Terra Nostra to have an experience soaking on the thermal pools or visit the garden. After this you will be starving, so it's time to have lunch, the famous COZIDO DAS FURNAS, a mix of meat and veggies boiled with steam.
Ready to try some other local things? It's time to try a few mineral water, straight from the Spring and a small surprise in the main time when sighting the Caldeiras.
The Pico do Ferro viewpoint is a must see as you actually can see the lake from the top and to finish in a great mood it's time for a tea. The only Tea Plantation in all of the Europe.
