About this activity
Our most popular tour starts at the corner of Washington Street and Taylor Street at the iconic Haller Fountain. After a brief introduction by the guide and a talk about the basics of Port Townsend's twisted past, the walking tour will start. Approxomatly 8 blocks with 15 stops including the most famouse Port Townsend Downtown Hotel, the Palace Hotel, a former brothel that seems to not care that time has gone on without it.

You will not just hear the crazy stories of days gone by, but you will get our take on the city, the restraunts gallaries and shops. This tour is a "PG-13" tour as we will cover stories of death, debautchery, mayhem, murder, prostitution and ghosts so be prepaired for some salty sailor terms and tales of some of the "soiled doves" who helped put Port Angeles on the map in 1889!

Each story teller / guide is fully versed on the history, folklore and paranormal activity in town and take great joy in retelling the tales in a way that will transport you to the time of the story. When we complete the tour we hope that you will see, that in Port Angeles, the past truley does have a presence.
