About this activity
The Bump Track was officially founded in 1875 to provide access from the gold mines to Port Douglas. However, it was thought to have been hunting & trading trail for the local aboriginal tribes for many years beforehand.

Enjoy a complimentary pickup from your accommodation in Port Douglas. After a short 30 minutes drive, we arrive at Mt Molloy where the tour starts. After unloading bikes and fitting them to riders, our friendly and experienced tour guide will give a short safety briefing and skills demonstration. Then you will be ready for your thrilling and rewarding Bump Track tour.

With our Bump Track tour you will encounter beautiful lush ancient tropical rainforest with tranquil streams and waterfalls. The trail itself undulates through single track, cross country and downhill sections. Our tour bus will meet you at two different locations to provide you with hydration, snacks and tropical fruits.

From the bottom of the Bump Track, the tour continues on to river crossing, sugar cane fields and finishes off with a roll along Four Mile Beach providing riders with some of the best riding and views Tropical North Queensland has to offer.

After the completion of your tour, enjoy the worry-free transfer in a courtesy bus back to your hotel in Port Douglas.
