Your guide will meet you at your Port Lincoln accommodation at 8am and you’ll start the day by exploring some of the most stunning coastline in South Australia. At Lincoln National Park have your camera ready because you will likely spot native birdlife including ospreys, wedgetail eagles and colourful rock parrots along the cliff tops. If you are travelling in July to September you might even be lucky to spot some whales.

Enjoy morning tea at Stamford Hill which has breathtaking views across the harbour. Take off your shoes for a stroll along Surfleet Beach before travelling to Fisheries Bay. Here we begin a 14-kilometre scenic coastal drive along the iconic Whalers Way.

Wildlife lovers will be thrilled to get up close to the friendly koalas at Mikkira Station. The only wild koala colony on the Eyre Peninsula, here you’ll be able to take that perfect photo as they eat the leaves off the many Manna Gum trees.

Having worked up an appetite, its back to Port Lincoln to join a ‘Seafood Lovers’ behind the scenes tour of the Fresh Fish Place. This one hour experience includes tastings of fresh Mussels, Scallops, Squid and Coffin Bay Octopus. Following the tour, enjoy a tantalising lunch of seafood straight from the ocean.

Feeling satisfied, board an eco-friendly electric canal cruiser with local legend Fred. On a relaxing cruise through the Lincoln Cove Marina waterways, he will share 40 years of knowledge of Australia’s largest commercial fishing fleet and tell a few sailors tales too.

Back on land its onwards to Boston Bay Wines. This picturesque vineyard and cellar door was established in 1984 and produces a premium range of award winning wines. Enjoy a local produce tasting plate as you sit back and soak up the magnificent views over the bay.

Pop into Glen Forest Tourist Park & Vineyard to get up close with more native wildlife and birds and taste some more wine if you desire.

Stop At: Winter Hill Lookout, Winters Hill Rd, Port Lincoln, South Australia 5606 Australia

Finish the tour on top of the world at Winters Hill Lookout to have one last taste of fresh seafood from our pop-up restaurant. Your guide will return you back to your Port Lincoln accommodation at around 5.30pm.
