About this activity
Begin your 9 hours Mauritius North tour with a complimentary hotel pick-up at your accommodation anywhere on the paradise Island. You will meet and be greeted by our certified guide and after boarding to your comfortable vehicle, then set off for your first stop.

You'll be heading to Cap-Malheureux, a small village in the island’s far north, to visit the attractive red roofed Church which offers a splendid view over Gunner’s Quoin and the northern islands. After some time, travel to La citadelle( Fort) to enjoy exploring the panoramic view of the City of Port-Louis, the capital of Mauritius. After that, You'll be heading to visit Marie Reine de la paix which is a popular spot for prayers, and the ornamental gardens offer views over the city. Afterwards, continue to Caudan waterfront which was one of the first commercial and popular development in Mauritius. Over there, you have the opportunity to visit the Blue Penny Museum. The Blue Penny Museum is one of those rare places providing visitors with a captivating glimpse of the art and history of Mauritius.

At around 12.15, you'll head to a local restaurant at Port-Louis to savor a 3-course Mauritian lunch comprising Fresh Salads, Rice, soups, Meat, chicken, fish and vegetables. Following Lunch, you'll be heading to Pamplemouses Garden which is the oldest botanical garden in the Southern Hemisphere, famous for its long pond of giant water lilies and its 500 rare exotic plants. Next, you will be heading to Champ de Mars (Race Course on Saturday) to see Horse race. Today, the Champ de Mars attracts tens of thousands of people on each racing day during the racing season from late March to early December and has become the ultimate meeting place for racing fanatics from all over the island and even from abroad.

From there, you'll be heading to Apravasi Ghat (UNESCO world Heritage site) where the modern indentured labour diaspora began. After some time, heading to Port Louis local market and China Town to see the culture of the locals. You will be able to buy craft products, clothes, souvenirs at a relatively low price. The day last stop is to visit and enjoy shopping at Bagatelle Shopping Mall which is the biggest shopping mall in Mauritius.

After a long day at exploring, your North full-day tour ends with return transport to your hotel.
