About this activity
China Town was once the most lively places in Port Louis (and possibly Mauritius). It was a place of gathering for Mauritians of all backgrounds; people mingled, shared their culture, and ate delicious food.
Today, China Town is not what it used to be, but Mauritians have joined forces to try and preserve the Sino-Mauritian culture through festivals, ancient customs, and of course FOOD!
Our Exclusive China Town Food Tour will take you on a culinary journey back in time!
Meeting Place: The Casino at the Caudan Waterfront, Port Louis (NOTE: We do not offer transport to/from the Meeting Place)
Start Time: 11:00 (please arrive 5 minutes before the start time)
End Time: 15:00 (approximate time - can vary)

• Taste some typical Sino-Mauritian dishes on the side of the road or at some of the best restaurants.
• Wander deep into Port Louis and explore the streets of China Town.
• Learn about Chinese culture and history in Mauritius as we visit traditional stores between food stops.
