Trip To Alexandria From Port Said port

* Your Egypt Smile Tours guide and manager will be waiting inside Port said for you.
* They will be holding a sign showing your name. You do not need to look for them – they will be waiting for you and will find you.
* From the moment your tour starts, your guides will give you full attention.
* Once in the car, your guide will talk to you about all the things on the way as well as other aspects of your tour that will interest you.
* Travel to Alexandria, First visit the insides of the Catacombs of Kom El Shokafa which are the largest Roman Cemetery consisting of three levels cut in the rock.
* Then you will drive to visit the Roman Amphitheater of Alexandria with the display of the sunken monuments of Alexandria which were discovered under the East harbor of Alexandria. 
* You will also drive by Pompay’s Pillar and stop for a photo stop, (it was constructed in honor of the Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century) .
* Next stop is the library of Alexandria; the biggest library in the world – now with 8 million books. Visit it’s open court where you can see the statue of Alexander the Great and the statue of Ptolemy the first, which was found underwater nearby.
* You will visit the library famous Manuscripts Museum, president Saddat Museum and impressions of Alexandria Museum.

Note: Alexandria Library is closed on Fridays and on every public holiday. To enter the reading area you will need to purchase a ticket.
* The car will then take you to visit the church of St. Mark – the oldest church in Africa. 
* Through your drive you will see the old downtown and the local historical architecture which has baroque style designs and Italian and French style properties.
* Visit El Nabi Daniel Mosque which is believed by many people to be related to Alexander the great tomb, It is said to contain the remains of the scholar and venerated teacher Prophet Daniel and his companion Sidi Lokman el Hakim, a religious story-teller.
* The car will then take you to visit the prettiest and biggest mosque in the city: the Abbo Elabbas Mosque, and the strangest sight outside it: an old funfair where children play on.
* then move to Montaza Palace and gardens which is approx 25 km away, including the old harbor of Alexandria where we found 7000 monuments underwater.
* On your way back you will stop over the famous bridge of Stanley – the modern landmark of modern Alexandria,
