About this activity

After receiving a hands-on bike familiarisations and a riding safely induction from your experienced guide, set of on your quad bike tour of the
Worimi Sand Dunes, the largest coastal sand dunes in the southern hemisphere.

Stopping atop the high dunes, you'll be provided with a 360’ view of the lands and receive a verbal presentation of the traditional occupation and uses of the land. Fresh water lagoons and midden sites (tool and burial sites) can be spied from this vantage point.

The presentation also includes information about the current tenures of the landscape and the hopes and aspirations of the local Aboriginal people. Following the presentation, you'll be guided past each of the noted attractions however; the time restriction for this experience does allow a ‘hands-on’ experience (can vary from time to time).

Your tour Includes a hands-on experience at the Midden/Tool making sites, digging for fresh water and bush foods and medicines contained within the area, and sand boarding down one of the highest sand dunes in the southern hemisphere.
