About this activity

You will depart from the Mount Hood Railroad Depot in Hood River, Oregon at 1030am. There is a $5.00 parking fee per car and recommendation is to arrive 45 minutes prior to departure for ticketing. You are transported through woods, orchards, and vineyards aboard the Mount Hood Train to Parkdale. While at Parkdale you can enjoy a trip to the museum or have a picnic lunch. For an additional cost, you can order a box lunch from Apple Valley BBQ, while on the train to be ready for your arrival at Parkdale or you are welcome to bring one with you, no glass please. Please be sure to dress accordingly for the weather and to wear closed toe sturdy shoes! You will return to the Mount Hood Depot at approximately 3pm.
