Stop At: Mount Tabor Park, SE 69th and Belmont Street, Portland, OR 97215
We will meet at the Visitor Center at Mt. Tabor Park, then begin a gentle, fairly easy hike of about two miles total - through the Mt. Tabor forest on mostly paved paths. The sun rises from the east over Mt. Hood and begins to lighten the City of Portland, which we will experience rain or shine. At the midway point we will be at the top of Mt. Tabor, which has magnificent views on clear mornings. Following the walk, please join me for a cup of tea and conversation at the covered picnic area if you would like!
