About this activity

At 9 am your guide will meet you at Pinhão train station and organise the transfer to the start of the walk in Casal de Loivos.
Before start walking, you will visit an olive oil museum with an olive oil tasting.
At the start point, you will witness the splendour of the Douro landscape from various perspectives including a famous miradouro.
Wend your way downhill through the vineyards and past quintas all the way to Croft’s Quinta da Roeda where you’ll call in for a tour of the winery and of course, port wine tasting.
Refill your energy with an amazing picnic lunch at Quinta do Bomfim. Learn about the influential Symington family and their wines and celebrate the end of an enjoyable day’s hike with a port wine tasting session with enviable views of the river.
This fantastic experience ends around 14 pm
