The Drop & Admission to The Emirates Spinnaker Tower

Climb 100 steps up the tower’s hidden staircase, inch out across the metal transfer platform straddling the legs of the tower with the harbour down below, feel the breeze, catch the view, take a deep breath, then… DROP!

The Drop is an adrenaline experience for ages 11 and over. In the interest of safety, minimum and maximum weight restrictions apply.

Experience bird’s-eye views over Portsmouth harbor and the English Channel with an entrance ticket to the Emirates Spinnaker Tower. Ride the elevators to the observation decks and ogle the incredible, 350-degree views as you learn about the sights via interactive touchscreens. Visit View Deck I and step onto the Sky Walk glass floor to stand 328 feet (100 meters) above the waves below. Relax at the café on Deck 2, and then visit the highest platform, the open-air Sky Deck, to enjoy the thrilling views and wind in your hair.

Arrive at View Deck 1and admire the 350-degree views over the harbor, River Solent, English Channel and coastline through the full-height windows. As you gaze out, learn about Portsmouth and the landmarks using the i-VIEW touchscreens and audio guides, available in multiple languages. Then, venture across the glass Sky Walk. Step onto the glass and see the waves far below – if you dare! Next, ascend to the Café in the Clouds, set 344 feet (105 metres) up. Relax here as you absorb the vistas before heading for the highest view point, the 360-feet (110-meter) high, open-air Sky Deck. Feel the wind whip your hair as you ogle the long-distance views and use the Talking Telescopes (additional cost) to scan the horizons. Back at ground level, perhaps pick up souvenirs (own expense) at the gift shop, visit the tower’s Waterfront Café or explore the outlets at nearby Gunwharf Quays mall.
